Great food and wine in a nice atmosphere. The place is a bit difficult to find (Tripadvisor shows a wrong address!) but it’s definitively worth to look for it. The “primi piatti”, pasta or first courses are absolutely excellent! Great! Thank you, Francesco, you are a superb “oste”!

Sono stato lì due volte con un amico, in vacanza. Ambiente molto rilassante e piacevole, servizio efficiente, caloroso e accogliente grazie a Francesco, molto bravo a farci sentire a casa e soprattutto come se ci andassimo da sempre. Pochi piatti, ma danno la giusta varietà di scelta, permettendo di mantenere alta la qualità. La tartare di senape e capperi molto delicata per un piatto non facile, ma le polpette ai ceci con la crema di formaggio sono assolutamente un esplosione di sapori che non vorresti mai finire, saziando pancia e anima. Una piccola perla umbra nel borgo di Bevagna, fatta di prodotti di qualità, fantasia e tanto cuore da Francesco e Annalisa.

This is the most amazing restaurant in Umbria and by far my favorite. It has just 8 tables inside and 8 outside. The chef greeted us and gave us a free tasting of white wine as soon as we arrived. There were lots of vegetarian options for us, as well as meat for others on the menu. My boyfriend and my pasta dishes were totally incredible and beautifully presented. Their tiramisu was the best tiramisu dessert I have ever tasted and my boyfriend loved his dessert so much we both could not have been happier in this beautiful romantic restaurant too. We had a glass of wine which they also did not charge us for and the lemon appericatif was so awesome! If only this restaurant was in Boulder, Colorado and I could go more often. This is my most favorite restaurant in Italy, each dish was so totally mouthwatering. The owner was our waiter too, he was the sweetest, always smiling and the service was impeccable, there if we needed anything but also leaving us to enjoy our magical dinner.

Una vera osteria con cucina, piccola, accogliente arredata con gusto. Ingredienti e vini locali, selezionati con cura, ma anche qualche chicca frutto dell’estro e della cultura enogastronomica dei proprietari. Un menu corto che ruota (finalmente !) segno evidente della freschezza dei prodotti. Un servizio “informale” ma garbato. Il conto senza sorprese. Cosa chiedere di più?

Siamo capitati in questa osteria per caso ma è stato amore! Materie prime di qualità, cibo ottimo e il servizio è una coccola. Francesco è stato un padrone di casa gentile e attento ai bisogni dei suoi ospiti. Consigliatissimo!
